Description


8.1L marine engine (standard or high output) (one-piece rear main
seal, roller cam and roller lifters). This engine has been
professionally remanufactured to meet or exceed stock GM OEM marine
engine specifications. Developed between 370 and 375 hp for the standard
HP or between 420 and 425 hp for the high output version. This 8.1L
long block will NOT work as a 7.4L replacement.


This 8.1L marine engine (standard or high output output) is equipped with the following:

8.1L GM Marine Engine (Standard Rotation)

Standard (370-375 hp) or High Output (420-425 hp) ADD $400

All joints

Corrosion resistant black urethane paint

Vortec cylinder heads, engine block and all internal components

Roller cam and roller lifters

Includes engine circulation pump

Will ONLY work in existing 8.1L applications

Standard Rotation ONLY

Does NOT include 8.1L oil pan, valve covers and harmonic balancer

Notes: GM 8.1L Vortec, 496 CID

Details: This block is completely machined in our CNC machining center. It is align honed and torque plate honed. The block is assembled with brass frost plugs and is pressure tested.
